Imogene "Feedie" Bierschwal Felden Hitt, 89, a native of Dutchtown, Mo. and resident of Houma, has gone to be with the Lord Jesus, at 4:15 a.m. Friday, Aug. 19, 2011.
Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. to funeral time Monday at Falgout Funeral Home. Religious services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with burial at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Gray.
She is survived by two sons, George Patrick Felden and wife, Mary Ann Keough Felden of Harrison, Idaho and Michael Dean Hitt and wife, Pat Hebert Hitt of Thibodaux; one daughter and caregiver, Sharon Jean Hitt of Houma; one granddaughter, Michelle Hitt Oliver; three great-grandchildren, Chloe Rene' Oliver, Evan Nathaniel Oliver and Owen Michael Oliver; one sister-in-law, Georgia Schwab Bierschwal of Cape Girardeau, Mo.; and one sister and brother-in-law, Rita Vae Hitt Kidd and James Ray Kidd of Gordonville, Mo.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman Walter Bierschwal and Bertha May Baumgardt Bierschwal of Cape Girardeau, Mo.; four brothers Walter Arthur Bierschwal of Dutchtown, Mo., Cecil Webster Bierschwal and Leslie Lee Bierschwal of Cape Girardeau, Mo. and Leo John Pete Bierschwal of Granite City, Ill.; four sisters, Louise Alvina Bierschwal Cauble and Belma Bierschwal Hohler of Cape Girardeau, Mo., Geraldine Marie Bierschwal Vogelsang of Jackson, Mo. and Velma Bierschwal Nearns of Pine Buff, Ark.; and numerous nephews and nieces.
She enjoyed bowling, bingo, dancing, and watching softball and baseball games. She loved her family and she will be deeply missed.
