Idola Portier Marcel

Idola Portier Marcel, 78, a native and resident of Houma, passed away on August 18, 2018.
Visitation will be held from 6 PM until 9 PM on Wednesday, August 22 and from 8 AM until service time on Thursday, August 23 at Falgout Funeral Home in Houma. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Thursday in the funeral home chapel with burial to follow at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery II.
She is survived by her sons, Leonard Paul Marcel, Jr. (Karen), Jeffrey Joseph Marcel (Penny), and Jimmy Marcel (Candy); siblings, Merrill Portier Guertin and Clay Portier; 10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Paul Marcel, Sr.; parents, Clifford Portier and Idola Mabel Portier LeBoeuf; brothers, Davis and Herman Portier; half-brothers, Charles and Duffy James LeBoeuf.
