Ida Daigle Plaisance, 87, a native and resident of Lockport, died at 4 p.m. Thursday, June 2, 2011.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time today at Holy Savior Catholic Church in Lockport. Mass will be held at 11 a.m. today at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.
She is survived by three sons, Harvey Plaisance and wife, Bertha, Kenneth Plaisance and wife, Pam, and Evans Plaisance and companion, Charlene Foret; one daughter, Pamella Cantrelle; two sisters, Hilda Adams and Alice Robichaux; 13 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren Plaisance; her son-in-law, Otis Cantrelle Sr.; three brothers, Ulysses, Wade, and Willie Daigle; and one sister, Gladys Knobloch.
She was a parishioner of Holy Savior Catholic Church.
