Ida Gassen Lorio, 92, a native of Luling and a resident of Hahnville, died on Sunday, Oct. 14, 2012 at 6 a.m. in Destrehan.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral. Visitation will be from 8 a.m. until funeral time Tuesday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Hahnville, La. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church. Interment will follow in the St. Charles Cemetery, Luling.
Beloved wife of the late Adolphe Victor Lorio. Mother of Wendell Lorio and wife Juanita, and Dale Victor Lorio and wife Charlotte.
Daughter of the late John and Louise J. Gassen. Sister of the late Sidney, John Jr., John, Alvin Gassen, Stella Wilson, Florestine Bourg, Emma Boudreaux, Evelina Falgout, Anna Roussell and Vilot Vieth.
Also survived by eight grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
