Houston Ledet, Sr.

Houston J. Ledet Sr., 75, a native of Larose and resident of Lockport, died at 3:40 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2011.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Friday at Falgout Funeral Home in Lockport. Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Holy Savior Catholic Church in Lockport, with burial in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Rivet Ledet; five sons, Houston Ledet Jr. and wife, Janice, Terry Ledet and wife, Darlene, Randy Ledet and wife, Melanie, Malcolm Ledet and wife, Wendy, and Craig Ledet and wife, Robin; two sisters, Clara Mae Gros and Betty Ordoyne; and 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Odesson and Emelda Matherne Ledet; one son, Danny Ledet; three brothers, Steven, Urie, and Edward Ledet; and one grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred.
