Horris T. Griffin, 83, a native of Valentine and resident of Lockport, died at 9:05 a.m. Monday, May 14, 2012.
Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. Thursday and from 8 to 10:45 a.m. Friday at Falgout Funeral Home in Lockport. Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Holy Savior Catholic Church in Lockport, with burial in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Dolores H. Griffin; seven sons, Harris Griffin and wife, Joannie, Mitch Griffin and wife, Vickie, Andrew Griffin and wife, Grace, Milfred Griffin and wife, Donna, Bryan Griffin and wife, Maureen, Alexander Griffin and wife, Dana, and Darren Griffin and wife, Melissa; six daughters, Karen Charpentier and husband, Farrell, Lori St. Pierre and husband, Michael, Nancy Johnson and husband, Clyde, Angela Griffin, Allicen Griffin, and Paula Malone and husband, David; brother, Herbert Griffin; and 24 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Telemaque and Josephine Griffin; three brothers, Clifton, Alexander, and Ellis Griffin; and three sisters, Evelina Rodrigue, Theresa Griffin and Shirley Griffin.
He was a parishioner of Holy Savior Catholic Church.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
