Hilton J. Pitre

Hilton “Boy” Pitre, 95, a native and resident of Raceland, LA, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, December 17, 2024.

Private services will be later.

Hilton is survived by his loving wife of 77 years, Audrey Falgout Pitre; daughters, Susan Gervais, Linda Levron and Patsy Chiasson (Todd). Sons, Chuck Pitre (Charlotte) and Bob Pitre (Sheila). Sister, Peggy Boudreaux and brother, Ray Pitre. Grandchildren, Tommy Pitre, Jr., Tory Gervais, Chris Pitre, Tyson Pitre, Nikki Duplantis, Calin Pitre, Ashly Pitre and Halie Chiasson; 14 great grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Nolan and Edla Babin Pitre; brother, Murphy Pitre; sister, Jeanelle Pitre Griffin; son Tommy Pitre, Sr. and sons-in-law, Werly Gervais and Houston Levron.

Hilton was a dedicated oilfield employee for more than 45 years. He was a past member of the Lafourche and Louisiana Roping Club and the Lafourche Cattleman’s Association.

He enjoyed riding horses in his younger years and duck carving and gardening as he got older. But, above all he loved his family and cherished the time spent with them.
