Hilton Joseph Gaspard, 76, a native of Golden Meadow and resident of Galliano, died Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2012.
Visitation will be from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano. Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with burial in Cheramie Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Joyce Guidry Gaspard; son, Hilary Gaspard and wife, Carla; brother, Eusebe Gaspard; two sisters, Enola Guidry and Elma Terrebonne; and two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Augustine Gaspard and Marie Borne Gaspard; brothers, Dolton, Augustine, Leander, and Patterson Gaspard; and sisters, Anecia Callais, Dorita Felaise and Lorica Callais.
He was Catholic.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
