Hilda Alario Turnage, 86, a native and resident of Golden Meadow, died at 12:58 a.m. Saturday, April 23, 2011.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Thursday at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Golden Meadow. Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.
She is survived by one son, Euell J. “Chippy” Turnage; one daughter, Juanita Victoria Turnage Gogreve; three brothers, Jefferson J. Alario, James G. Alario and Robert J. Alario; three sisters, Gladys “Bea” Theriot, Rosemary Blackwell and Vivian Friouyx; and six grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Euell S. Turnage; her parents, Juan Victor Alario and Victoria Rebstock Alario; and one son-in-law, Ronnie Gogreve.
She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
