Henry J. Christen

Henry J. Christen, 87, a native and resident of Des Allemands, LA, passed away on Saturday, April 22, 2023.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Friday, April 28, 2023 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Paradis, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am with burial to follow in St. Gertrude Cemetery, Des Allemands, LA.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce Christen; daughter, Sheila Neeley; son, Keith Christen; grandchildren, Sabrina Cortez (Elsa), Cody Neeley (Catina), Kelsie Christen, Karlie Christen and Keith Christen, Jr.; great grandchildren, Alexis Cortez (Fiance, Michael Decuers), Drake Cortez, Braylen Neeley, Jackson Neeley, Liam Christen, Leilani Christen, Jonas Adams and Creed Christen.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Cindy Christen; son-in-law, Paul Neeley; parents, Nick and Lydia Christen and brother, Ralph Christen.
Henry enjoyed all sports. He coached recreational baseball for many years.
