Helen "Teetsie" Marie Sampay Boudreaux, 71, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of Houma, passed away at 2:04 a.m. Tuesday, June 11, 2013.
Burial was in Bayou Black Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, Dallas Joseph Boudreaux Sr.; sons, Keith Sr. and wife, Janice, of Thibodaux, and Dallas Jr. and wife, Candy Boudreaux, of Houma; daughters, Donna and husband, Darrell Lapeyrouse and Tammy Boudreaux, all of Houma; sisters, Anna Mae Falcon, Shirley Bourgeois and Ann Marie Delaune; grandchildren, Keith Boudreaux Jr, Nicole Boudreaux and companion, Tippy Tipton, Lucille, Beth and Austin Boudreaux, Travis Bergeron and wife, Keneisha, Chad LeBlanc, Lacey and husband, David Triche, Haley Lapeyrouse and companion, Ralph Britt, Devin Lapeyrouse, Mindy Orgeron and Kristen Leonard; step-grandson, Blake Melancon; great-grandchildren, Brayden Roell, Brooklyn Eschete, Kiara and Bryson Boudreaux, Isaiah Willis and Savannah and baby Triche; and step-great-granddaughter, Destiny Melancon.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Early and Ruby Arceneaux Sampay; brothers, Warren and Gordon Sampay; grandmother, Donna Hebert Arceneaux; and sisters, Betty Karpenski, Evelyn Portier, Mable Bonvillain and Barbara Solet.
The family would like to extend special thanks to Tulane Abdominal Transplant and Cancer Center, special family friend, Dawn Plaisance and St. Joseph Hospice in Thibodaux.
She was a retired school bus driver for Terrebonne Parish School System for 27 years who loved cooking, going to the casinos and spending time with family and friends.
