Hazel Melancon

Hazel Baudoin Melancon, 90, a native of Raceland and resident of Des Allemands, passed away peacefully Sunday, Sept. 7, 2014.Visitation will be 5-9 p.m. Friday at Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland and from 8 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Paradis. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, with burial in St. Mary's Cemetery in Raceland.She is survived by her son, Albert J. Melancon and wife, Dottye; daughter, Gail M. Price and husband, Robert; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her husband, Rudolph Melancon Jr.; sons, David J. and Roy J.
