Hazel Naquin Martinez

Hazel Naquin Martinez, 90, a native of Labadieville, LA. and a resident of Raceland, LA., peacefully passed away on Wednesday, January 22, 2025. 

 She is survived by her children, Stephen Martinez (Donna); Randy Martinez (Laurie), and Lisa Martinez Babin (Timmy). Grandchildren Heidi Martinez, Stephanie Martinez, Brandon Babin (fiancé Courtney), and Bryan Babin, great-grandchild Lorne LaJaunie III.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Raynal Martinez, parents, Clarence Naquin Sr. and Beulah Folse Naquin; brothers, Charles Naquin, and Clarence Naquin Jr.; sisters, Mary Theresa Richard, and Shirley Ordoyne.

Visitation will be on Saturday, February 1, 2025 at St. Hilary of Poitiers Catholic Church from 9:00am until service time. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am at St. Hilary’s of Poitiers Catholic Church with burial at St. Mary’s Nativity Catholic Cemetery.
