Hazel Clement Bergeron, 83, a native of St. John Community (Thibodaux) and a resident of Houma peacefully returned to her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, March 17, 2015.
Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Friday, March 20, 2015 at Falgout Funeral Home, Houma, LA and from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM, Saturday, March 21, 2015 at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, Houma, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM Saturday at St. Bernadette Catholic Church with burial to follow in St. Francis #2 Cemetery.
She is survived by her sons, Gregory Bergeron, Ernie Bergeron and wife Anita; daughter, Lauren Fletcher; grandchildren, Chelsea Fenton and husband Robert, Chase Bergeron, Annelle Fletcher; great grandchildren, Wade and Jane Fenton; sisters, Marcella Brasher, Gail Decker and husband Bobby, sister-in-law, Lucille Clement and brother-in-law, Charles Lee.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence A. Bergeron Jr.; parents, Nolan and Annelle Naquin Clement; brother, Burgess Clement; sisters, Viola Robeau and husband Fred, Yvonne Lee and brother-in-law, Ray Brasher.
Hazel was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a hard working women with a strong will and a love of life. She loved people and socializing. Hazel was a devout catholic and a founding parishioner of St. Bernadette Catholic Church where she was a member of the Catholic Daughters for 40 years. She was also a member of the church choir. She was a master gardener with the LSU Ag Center.
