Hazel Babin

Hazel Trosclair Babin, 84, a native and resident of Raceland, passed away at 11:50 p.m. Thursday, June 19, 2014, at her residence.Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Sunday at Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland and from 9 a.m. until funeral time Monday at St. Mary's Nativity Catholic Church in Raceland. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.She is survived by her husband, Alcide "Buck" Babin Jr.; son, Kenneth Babin Sr.. and wife, Bettlyn; daughter, Debra Babin Hernandez; daughter-in-law, Tina Babin; grandchildren, Brandy, Kenneth Jr., Rocoe, Chrissy, and Jacob; and great-grandchildren, Makalay, Lexie, Triton, Kade, Izyck, Hayden, Haze, and Cohen.She was preceded in death by her son, Terry Babin; brother, Gregory Trosclair; and sister, Lois Naquin.Hazel loved cooking, gardening, and spending time with her family.Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland is in charge of arrangements. - See more at: http://www.legacy.com/obituaries/houmatoday/obituary.aspx?n=hazel-babin-trosclair&pid=171430065&fhid=14168#sthash.jm9Dwans.dpuf
