Harvey Joseph Bergeron

Harvey J. Bergeron, 78, a native and resident of Houma, passed away on Sunday, July 2, 2017.
Visitation will be held from 9 AM until service time on Friday, July 7 at St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 AM on Friday at the church with burial to follow at Holy Rosary cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce Kissock Magee Bergeron; daughters, Karen Magee McCann, Rhonda Magee Williams and companion, Jay Smith, and Michelle Magee Chauppette and companion, David Young; sister, Patricia Popp; grandchildren, Ryan Chauppette and companion, Angelica Tran, and Nicole Chauppette; great-grandchildren, Ashton, Julius, and Macee Casbon, and Destinee and Paxton Chauppette; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harris and Marie Rogers Bergeron; siblings, Elaine Popp and Gerald Bergeron; and grandson, Jeffry Chauppette.
He was in the Knights of Columbus for 40 years and was a 4th degree Knight. He will be truly missed. The family would like to thank Dr. Ray Cinnater and Journey Hospice.
