Harry J. Allemand, Sr., 93, a native and resident of Larose, passed away on Monday, August 1, 2016.

Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM on Friday, August 5, 2016 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Larose, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 PM Friday with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Enola Ledet Allemand; son Harry J. Allemand, Jr. (Sheron); daughter, Gale Leonard (Louis); brothers, Loyman Allemand, Anthony "Lou" Allemand; sister, Thelma Chouest; 4 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Abel and Viola Kieffe Allemand; brothers, John, Morris and Norris Allemand; sisters, Shirley Ledet, Velma Babin; grandchild, Louis Leonard, Jr. and dog, Sue-Sue.

A small reception will be held at Larose Civic Center after the services.
