Harriet Ray Moore Pennex, 83, a native Indianapolis, IN and resident of Raceland, LA passed away on Monday, February 28, 2022.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 5th at St. Hilary of Poitiers Catholic Church from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow in St. Mary Cemetery.
She is survived by her sons, Gerald (Diane) Pennex, Jr. and Darryl R. Pennex; daughters, Angela (Dale, Jr.) Martin, Stephanie Pennex and Benita (David) Menendez; brother, Raymond “Ray” Moore, Jr.; sisters, Peggy (Cosmo) Biasillo and Brenda (Frank, Sr.) Anderson; 13 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald “Pete” Pennex, Sr.; parents, Raymond, Sr. and Zuleka “Peggy” Moore; grandson, Michael A. Rogers; brothers, Harold “Sonny” Moore and Jesse Moore; sister, Sharon Moore.
