Gwendolyn Bye Griffin, 67, a native of Avondale, La. and resident of Raceland, La. went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, November 18, 2021 with her loving family near her side.
Visitation will be Monday, November 22, 2021 from 9:00am until service times at St. Hilary of Poitiers Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11:00am with cremation to follow.
Gwendolyn is survived by her husband of 46 years; David J. Griffin, sons; Kevin M. Griffin (Jessica) and Steven J. Griffin (Chantell), grandchildren; Joshua P. Griffin, Emily C. Griffin and Annabelle G. Griffin.
Gwendolyn was preceded in death by her parents; Johnny W. and Leota Dufren Bye, sister; Loretta Bye Breaux, and an infant sister Jacqueline Bye.
Gwendolyn’s grandchildren ALWAYS brought a smile to her face and brought so much happiness to her life. Gwendolyn loved to cross stitch.
