Gregory “Jimmy” Trosclair, 76, a native and resident of Larose, passed away on Thursday, April 28, 2022.
Visitation will be held at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, in Larose, on Wednesday, May 4th from 10 am until service time. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 12 noon with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
Jimmy is survived by daughter, Kimberly Hood (Eric); step-sons, Shane Theriot (Julie) and Todd Theriot (Shannon); 2 grandchildren, Nicole Trosclair and Ali Hood; sister, Lucky T. Merrifield.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert “Peter” and Melba C. Trosclair; sister, Brenda T. Boudreaux; brothers, Dennis and Richard “Dickie” Trosclair.
Jimmy retired from being a tug boat captain after working for almost 60 years. He loved life and spending time with family and friends.
