Gordon "Jardin" Joseph Plaisance, 59, a native and resident of Cut Off passed away on March 28, 2016. Visitation will take place on March 31, 2016 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off from 10:00 am until service time. Funeral Mass will begin at 12 noon with burial following in the church cemetery.
Gordon is survived by his daughters Kateri P. Roger and Ashley Plaisance, brother Nicholas Plaisance and grandchild, Lena Roger.
Mr. Plaisance was preceded in death by his parents Roy Plaisance and Louise Duffy Plaisance, and grandparents Andrew and Florence Plaisance, and Nicholas and Lucy Duffy.
He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and attained Grand Knight in Galliano and active with Journey Towards Christ and Cursillo.
The family would like to thank Mr. Gordon's caregivers Ray and Gerry Dugas, Denise Ayo, David Carskdon for their loving care and compassion.
