Glorina "Gloria" Rousse Garza, 91, a native and resident of Golden Meadow, died Wednesday July 6, 2011.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano. Religious services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with burial in Cheramie Cemetery.
She is survived by one daughter, Glorina "Nina" Griffin; one brother, Alvin Rousse; and two grandchildren, Shannon Anselmi and Carl Domangue Jr.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Etienne and Leotine Rousse; six brothers, Clifton, Laurent, Edison, Edward, Tillman, and Louie Rousse; and one sister, Lydia Cheramie.
She was a beautician for many years in the community and loved to work in her garden.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
