Gloria Hebert Porche, 81, a native of Houma and resident of Thibodaux, died Wednesday, May 25, 2011.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Friday at St. Louis Catholic Church. Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, Wilbert Porche Sr.; three sons, David Porche, Wilbert Porche Jr. and Mark Porche; three daughters, Charlene Porche, Donna Lee Porche and Lynn Pittman; one brother, Steven Hebert; two sisters, Ella Mae Guidry and Shirley Fanguy; 23 grandchildren; and 32 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Leona Marcel Hebert; one son, James "Jimmy" Porche; one daughter, Susan Porche Levron; three brothers, J.C. Hebert, Joel Hebert and Bobby Hebert; and one sister, Jeanette Hebert.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Red Cross for the benefit of flood victims.
