Gloria Detillier Lecompte

Gloria “Mim” Detillier LeCompte, 93, a native of Mathews and a resident of Raceland, passed away on Monday, May 3, 2021.
Visitation will be from 11:30 am until 12:30 pm on Friday, May 7, 2021 at Falgout Funeral Home, Raceland, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 pm Friday at St. Hilary Catholic Church in Raceland with burial to follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Raceland, LA.
She is survived by her daughters, Paulette Ledet (Beauregard) and Glenda Chiasson (Ray); brother, Firmen Detillier Jr.; grandchildren, Stephanie Griffin, Stacy Duet, Leslie Enloe, James LeCompte, David Chiasson and Isaac Chiasson; 8 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alton LeCompte; son, Rodney LeCompte; parents, Firmen Detillier Sr. and Josephine Guidry Detillier; brothers, Moise Detillier Sr., Carlton Detillier, Mabry Detillier, Webster Detillier Sr. and Clifton Detillier and sisters, Irene Molaison, Elfie “Faye” St. Pierre, Elizabeth Landry, Allie Knight and Eloise Detillier.
Gloria was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed crocheting, gardening and helping others. She was a loving, wife, mother, grandmother and sister and friend.
