Gloria A. Eymard, 95, native of Cut Off and resident of Galliano, passed away on Wednesday January 8th, 2025.
Gloria is survived by her children, Tommy (Susan) Eymard, Susan (Kurt) Crosby, and Jason (Donna) Eymard; her grandchildren, Nicole (Liz) Clement, Corey (Melissa) Eymard, Tara (Myles) Cheramie, and Allison (Brett) DeRoche; her great-grandchildren, John Melancon, Ella Eymard, Cecelia Eymard, Caroline Cheramie, James Cheramie, Simon DeRoche, and Philip DeRoche; and her sister, Irene Matherne.
Gloria was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Irvin A. Eymard; her daughter in-law, Mona Cheramie Eymard; her granddaughter, Tatum (Lance) Melancon; her parents, Louis M. and Earline Plaisance Adams; and her brothers, Roy and Dallas Adams.
Gloria and her husband Irvin served the community of Galliano for many years as the proud owners of E. H. Eymard and Sons Clothing Store. Gloria enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and celebrating holidays and birthdays with them.
Gloria will be dearly missed by her family and all who knew her.
A visitation will take place on Sunday, January 12th, 2025, at Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano from 5:00 PM to 8:00PM. The visitation will continue on Monday, January 13th, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Galliano, from 9:00AM until service time at 11:00AM. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
