Gladys Lirette Griffin

Gladys Lirette Griffin, 83, a native of Thibodaux and resident of Houma, passed away on February 10, 2019.
Visitation will be from 6 PM until 9 PM on Thursday, February 14 and from 8 AM until service time on Friday, February 15 at Falgout Funeral Home in Houma. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Friday in the funeral home chapel with burial to follow at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery II.
She is survived by her daughters, Lisa Karr (Andre’), Kelly Voisin (Carroll), Stacey Lagarde (Randy), and Torey Smith (Robert); 9 grandchildren, Jennifer Norris (Logan), John Karr, Andy Voisin (Ashley), Mindy Voisin, Justin, Jordan, and Kristin Lagarde, Scott Hall, and Robby Smith; and 3 great-grandchildren, Jovi and Joel Voisin, and Jacob Norris.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest J. Griffin, Jr.; granddaughter, Casie Voisin; parents, Charles Clement Lirette and Theresa Adams Lirette; sisters, Yvonne Tabor, Anna Mae Lirette and Shirley Benoit; and brothers, David, Norman, Irvin, Hebert, Daniel and Richard Lirette.
