Gladys "Granny" Brown, 67, a native of Raceland and resident of Lockport, died at 5:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 16, 2011.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at St. Mary Church in Raceland. Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.
She is survived by one son, Clinton Autin; four daughters, Cheryl and husband, Leonard Goin, Ella and husband, Daniel Bellanger, Gwendolyn Eschete and Julie Winkler; two brothers, Menton and Benton Brown; two sisters, Gloria and husband, J.C. Autin, and Alice and husband, Nolan Baye; and 23 grandchildren, three stepgrandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren (two intended).
She was preceded in death by her father, Clinton; one grandson, David Mousseau; two great-granddaughters, Aubrie and Madalyn Bellanger; and two brothers, William (Bernice) and Wilson Brown.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
