Gladys Landry Breaux, 86, a native of Houma and a resident of Raceland, went to join her Heavenly Father on Thursday, April 7, 2011.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time today at St. Mary’s Nativity Catholic Church in Raceland. Mass will be held at 11 a.m. today at the church, with interment in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Cleveland Breaux; three daughters, Jaclynne B. Guidry and husband, Johnny, Debby B. Doherty and husband, Glenn, and Laura B. Owens and husband, Robert; 13 grandchildren, Addis and Jody Landry, Tanya L. Ponson, Jared and Jason Guidry, Jaynel G. Gisclair, Rick Doherty, Ellisa D. Malcom, Wesley Bourgeois, Heidi B. Doody, Colt and Jacob Buffington and Rob Owens; 18 great-grandchildren, Kallie, Klint, and Brenna Landry, Alexis Blanchard, Peyton and Reese Ponson, Alyssa, Ashton, Hayden, Madelyn, and Ella Guidry, Hannah Gisclair, Colin and Riley Doherty, Kate Malcolm, Noah Bourgeois, Olivia Doody and Robin Owens; and four sisters, Audrey L. Kraemer, Bernice L. Ledet, Thelma L. Breaux, and Mary L. Breaux and husband, Eldon.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Brenda B. Landry; her parents, Gilbert Landry and Arcellie Babin Landry; and one sister, Neddie L. Foret.
She was a loving wife, mother, sister, and friend to many. She will be sadly missed but never forgotten.
