Gladys B. Babin, 94, a native and resident of Raceland, LA, passed away on Tuesday, January 9, 2018.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Monday, January 15, 2018 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Raceland, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am Monday with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her sons, Irvin Paul Babin (Sheila) and Kerry Babin (Becky); daughter, Lynn Parks; brother, Alex Babin; 8 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Joseph "J.C." Babin; parents, Paul and Elina Theriot Babin; brother, Louis Babin and sister, Annie Pierce.
Special thanks to the staff of Hospice of South Louisiana, especially Kacie and Jessica for their loving and compassionate care.
