Gladys Theriot Allemand, 94, a native of Larose and a resident of Lockport, died at 11:58 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2012.
A visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 6, 2012 at Falgout Funeral Home in Lockport. A Mass of Christian Burial will commence at 11 a.m. on Saturday at Holy Savior Catholic Church in Lockport. The burial will follow in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her sons, Glenn Allemand and wife Jerri; son-in-law, J.W. Powell; daughters, Kathleen Boudreaux, Karen Gervais and husband Tracy, and Paula Comeaux; sister, Ethel Allemand; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert J. Allemand Sr.; parents, Lovincy and Elda Barrios Theriot; son, Herbert Allemand Jr.; son-in-law, Kelbert Boudreaux Jr.; daughters, Elaine Powell, and Sharon Fremin; brothers, Howard, Tillman, Gillis, Louis, Sydney, and Ernest Theriot; sisters, Nora Theriot, Lucia Breaux, Jeanne Bailleaux, Edith Theriot, Anna Ledet; and one grandchild.
She was a parishioner of Holy Savior Catholic Church.
