Gerry J. Bourgeois, Sr. 78, a native of Raceland and resident of Houma passed away on Thursday, April 7, 2022.
Visitation will be held at Falgout Funeral Home in Houma on Monday, April 11th from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time. A Prayer Service will be celebrated at 12:00 p.m. with burial to follow in St. Mary Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Bobbie Jean Adams Bourgeois; sons, Gerry (Annette) Bourgeois, Jr. and Kenneth (Linda) Bourgeois; step-son, James (Kylie) Stoot, II; daughter, Brandy Renee (Eugene) Luke; step-daughter, Jamie (Jeremy) Robichaux; sister, Margaret Chauvin; brother-in-law, Donald Benoit; 6 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Mary Grabert Bourgeois; brother, James Anthony Bourgeois; sister, Judith Benoit; brother-in-law, Roy Chauvin; former wife and mother of his children, Glenda Evans.
