Gerald C. Danos Sr., 76, a native of Cut Off and resident of Lockport, died Thursday, Feb. 14, 2013.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Monday at Holy Savior Catholic Church in Lockport. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 58 years, Hazel Danos; son, Gerald "Bully" Danos Jr. and wife, Tessie; daughters, Rachel Maronge and husband, Evest, Jackie Danos and companion, Michael Molaison, and Cindy Calhoun and companion, Norman Falgout; brother, Harry Danos; four grandchildren, Kissy R. Pitre, Rocky Robichaux, Haley D. Chavez and Jace Danos; and two great-grandchildren, Rhea Pitre and Alexa Chavez.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alexie and Marie L. Danos; and brothers, Claude "Pirre" Danos, Randolph Danos and Anthony "Cowan" Danos.
He was a parishioner of Holy Savior Catholic Church.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
