George H. Yokum, Jr., 75, a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Picayune, MS, passed away on Thursday, December 17, 2020.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at St. Gertrude Catholic Chruch, Des Allemands, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Matherne Yokum; son, Gregory George Yokum (Danielle); daughter, Heather Michelle Yokum; granddaughter, Shelby Lynn Yokum; god child and niece, Clare Maillian; niece, Therese Dupre (Michael) nephew, Jason Wixom (Teresa), god child and nephew, Brandon Wixom (Hannah) and great nephew, Julian Wixom.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George Sr. and Dorothy Yokum and sisters, Beverly Maillian and Madeleine Wixom.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
