George Everett Welch, 62, of Luling, Louisiana died July 8, 2015. Beloved husband to Deborah Shuey Welch. He was born on August 23, 1952 in Cleveland, Mississippi to the late Josephine Slaughter Welch and Charlie Wesley Welch. He is preceded in death by his brother Ronnie Joe Welch, spouse Carolyn Wilson Bowen, Mother-in-law Celia Shuey, and nephew Michael Welch. He is survived by one brother, Wayne (Ruby) Welch of Luling, LA. Father of Brian (Leigh-Ann) Welch, Brandon, MS., Veronica Welch Authement (Brian), Bayou Gauche, LA., stepfather of Kathy Martin (Paul), Luling, LA., and Joseph (Denise) Martin, Easton, MD. Grandfather of Ashton Cummings, Gannon Cummings, BJ Authement, Tristan Authement, Brileigh Welch, Chase Welch, George Hill, Alice Hill, Joseph Martin IV, and Julia Martin. Nephews, Chris (Melanie) Welch, Independence, KY., Wayne Wesley Welch Jr., Duluth, MN. Nieces, Dana Welch Jeanfreau, Belle Chasse, LA., Kayla Welch, Luling, LA. Mr. Welch also leaves behind several great nephews, nieces, and a host of friends that he considered family. Funeral services will be held at Life Fellowship Community Church in Bayou Gauche, LA on July 17, 2015 at 11:00 am with visitation for family and friends from 9:00 am to 11:00 am.
