George J. Walker, a native and resident to Lockport, passed away Thursday, December 27, 2018 at the age of 94.
Visitation will be held at Holy Savior Catholic Church on Monday, December 31st from 10 am until service time. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at the church starting at 11 am with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
George is survived by his son, Timothy J. Walker (Shirley D. Walker); 3 grandchildren, Troy Sampey (Stephanie), Tait Sampey (Jenny), Ty Sampey (Tiffany); great grandchildren, Brock Sampey, Brooke Travis (Austin), Trittnie, Trey, Baylon and Madison Sampey; great great grandchild, Hayzlee Grace Travis.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Beulah M. Walker; parents, Alcee and Lydia Walker; brothers, Russell, Roy, Clifton and Wilton Walker; sisters, Bernice Blanchard, Tessie Chauvin, Lucille Sevin and Doris Blanchard.
The family would like to thank Notre Dame Hospice for their care.
