George A. Trahan, 84, a native of Houma and resident of Theriot, died Sunday, July 14, 2013.
Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. until funeral time Tuesday at Falgout Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with burial in Terrebonne Memorial Park Cemetery.
He is survived by his sons, Timothy (Christine Rene) Trahan and Jason (Laura) Trahan; daughters, Katherine (Ralph) Kelley, Marcia (David) Modrynski and Elizabeth (Timothy J.) Bourgeois; brothers, Albert, Roy, Ray and Raymond Trahan; sisters, Alice LeBouef, Betty Pontiff and Judy Yawn; 22 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Delphine Mary Fonseca Trahan; parents, Loveless and Bernice Favre Trahan; granddaughter, Amanda Lynn Kelley; great-grandson, Dylan Michael Trahan; brothers, Alvin and Wilbert Trahan; and sister, Pearl Conner.
Falgout Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.
