Geneveive M. Breaux, 92, a native and resident of Gheens, LA, passed away on Wednesday, September 23, 2015.
Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM Friday, September 25, 2015 at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Gheens, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM Friday with burial to follow in Holy Savior Cemetery, Lockport, LA.
She is survived by her son, Freddie Breaux, Jr. and wife Earline; daughter, Irma Matherne; brother, Jerry Matherne; 5 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Freddie Breaux, Sr.; son, Gerald Breaux; son-in-law, Robert Matherne; parents, Mark Matherne, Sr. and Annie D. Matherne and brothers, Mark and Vince Matherne.
