Gary J. Rousse, 64, a native of Golden Meadow and resident of Cut Off, passed away Saturday, June 8, 2013.
Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m.Tuesday at Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano and from 9:30 a.m. until funeral time Wednesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off. Military honors will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church. A Mass of Christian burial will be at noon Wednesday at the church, with burial in Cheramie Cemetary.
He is survived by his wife of 29 years. Janet L. Rousse; brother, Jerry Rousse and wife, Linda; and adopted brother, Brian Thibodaux and wife, Stacey.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Emile and Rosemary Rousse.
He was a U.S. Army veteran who served stateside during the Vietnam war.
