Gary Joseph Rome

Gary J. Rome, 63, a native Raceland and a resident of New Orleans, passed away on Tuesday, June 23, 2021.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Monday, June 28, 2021 at St. Mary’s Nativity Catholic Church, Raceland, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his sisters, Mary Ann Hammond and Josephine Barker; brother, Carl J. Rome; niece, Lauren Ledet and nephews, Paul Barker, Christopher Rome and Jeremy Rome.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roland Rome Sr. and Martha B. Rome; brother, Roland Rome Jr. and sister, Lois Rome.
Gary was very good with his hands and enjoyed doing mechanic work. He loved being with family and friends and will be missed by all.
