Gary P. Dufrene, a native and resident of Raceland, passed away on Saturday, August 26, 2017, at the age of 72.
Visitation will be held at Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland, on Monday, August 28 from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm and will continue on Tuesday from 8:00 am until 10:30am. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Mary's Nativity Catholic Church, Tuesday, starting at 11:00 am with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
Gary is survived by his son, Brent Dufrene (Denise); daughter, Amy Granier; brother, Warren Dufrene (Joyce); sister, Evelyn Boudreaux (Mel) and 2 grandsons, Blake Dufrene and Gregory Granier.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Freddie and Genevieve Dufrene; brothers, Freddie Jr., John and Ira Dufrene.
Falgout Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
