Galveston M. Borne, 74, a native of Golden Meadow and a resident of Cut Off, died Monday, Nov. 5, 2012.
A visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2012 at Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano. A Mass of Christian burial will commence at 12 p.m. Wednesday, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Larose. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his sons, Mack Borne and wife Colette, Herbert Borne and wife Raven; daughters, Amanda Crosby and huband Terry Sr., Florence Borne and companion Kevin Cronin, and Rebecca Loupe and husband Marc; brothers, Gary Borne, Rusty Borne; sisters, Violin Giscalir, Lorina Guidroz, Judy Theriot, Gloria Griffin, Sherry Allemand; and 14 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Stella Dubois Borne; parents, Mark and Rosita G. Borne; an Infant daughter; brother, Venice Brone.
He was a parishioner of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Larose.
