Gabriel Noel Cheramie

Gabriel Noel Cheramie, 52 a native of Galliano, La. and resident of Golden Meadow, La. passed away on Saturday, April, 20. 2024.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church from 9:00am until service time. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am with burial to follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
Gabriel was survived by his wife; Dixie C. Cheramie, sons; Hagan (Taylon) Cheramie and Lane A. Cheramie, grandchildren; Levi, Rhett and Creed Cheramie, siblings; Susan (Glen) Terrebonne, Connie (Jeffery) Daigle, Peter (Beth) Cheramie, Teresa (Sonny) Crosby and Annette (Richie) Weaver and Michael (Tarina) Cheramie, sister-in-law; Martine Colin, also numerous nieces and nephews.
Gabriel was preceded in death by his parents; Albert J. and Dianna Cochennic Cheramie, granddaughters; Saylor and Rain Cheramie, brother; Kirk P. Cheramie.
Gabriel was an avid fisherman who loved working offshore. He was a U.S. Coastguard Licensed captain for many years.
