Freddie "Tooley" Joseph Naquin, Jr.

Freddie “Tooley” Joseph Naquin, Jr., age 77, passed away on Sunday, March 30, 2025. He was a native and resident of Houma, LA.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at Falgout Funeral Home in Houma on Thursday, April 3, 2025, beginning at 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Friday, April 4, 2025, beginning at 10:00 a.m. until a Military Service at 12:00 p.m. and a funeral service at 1:00 p.m. with burial following in St. Francis de Sales #2 Cemetery in Houma.

Freddie is survived by his wife of 54 years, Deborah Ann Samanie Naquin; daughters, Melissa Ann Naquin Rochel and husband, Bobby, and Bridget Lynn Naquin Mabe and husband, Hubert; brother, Jessie Naquin; sisters, Dorothy “Dot” N. Bergeron, and Lois N. Phillips and husband, Charles; brother-in-law, Michael Samanie and wife, Charlene; grandchildren, Sadie (Clark) Bergeron, Joseph (Rachel) Mabe, Julie Mabe and James Mabe; and great-grandchildren, Triston and Bryson Bergeron.

Freddie was preceded in death by his parents, Freddie Joseph Naquin, Sr. and Jeanne Marie LeBouef Naquin; brother, Eugene Naquin; brother-in-law, Collins Bergeron, Jr.; grandchildren, Aaron, Jackson, and John Mabe; and great-grandchild, Harper Bergeron.

Freddie served in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the VFW 7755 and the Vietnam Veterans of America. He enjoyed hunting, crawfishing, and spending time with family and friends.
