Frankie J. Delatte, Sr.

Frankie J. “Scrap” Delatte, Sr., 69, a native and resident of Vacherie, LA, passed away on Tuesday, September 17, 2024.

Visitation will be from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Friday, September 20, 2024 at Falgout Funeral Home, Raceland, LA. Religious services at 7:00 pm.

He is survived by his wife, Stacy Delatte; daughters, Amy Gauthreaux (Wallace Jr.), Cindy Delatte (fiancé, Drew Lassere); son, Frankie Delatte, Jr. (Joan); grandchildren, Donee, Lexie (Devon), Dawson (Taylor), Madison, Jerome, Brianna, Molly, Jude and Celia; great grandchildren, Liam, Malachi, Adaline, Weston, Jaxon and Brantley; brothers, Bruce, Kenneth and Brian Delatte; step father, Clarence Loup and fur baby, Zuzu and nieces, nephews and lifelong friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald Delatte Sr. and Cecilia Delatte Loup and brother, Donald Delatte, Jr.; granddaughter, Anna Grace and sons-in-law, Jerome Daggs, Jr, and Chad Tabor.

Scrap enjoyed hunting, fishing and crabbing. He was a big Saints and LSU fan. He was a former EMT. He loved spending time with his family and friends and was a fun person to be around and will be greatly missed. He also absolutely loved teaching to live off the land and hanging out with the Shop Crew.
