Frank E. DeLeon Sr., 84, a native of Corpus Christi, Texas and resident of Raceland, died Sunday, Feb. 12, 2012.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Tuesday at St. Mary Catholic Church in Raceland. Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Maria DeLeon; three sons, Frank DeLeon Jr. and wife, Linda, Hector DeLeon and wife, Melanie, and Bobby DeLeon and wife, Amy; six daughters, Olga Gauthreaux and husband, Allen Sr., Nora Vega and husband, Terry, Velma Guillot and husband, Bruce, Cynthia Bourgeois and husband, Dana, Mary Barrera and husband, Tino, and Corina Cruz; two living brothers and two living sisters; and 29 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Antonio and Herlinda DeLeon; and son, Gilbert DeLeon.
He served in the Army.
