Francis Roy “Chief” Landry, Sr., 76 a native of Abbeville, La. and resident of Lockport. La. passed away on February 14, 2021.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
“Chief” id survived by his wife of 46 years; Mary Ann S. Landry, children; Amanda Hebert (Gary, Sr.), Francine Touchet, Janice Barlow (Anthony, Sr.), Mary Hebert (Timmy), Hilda Landry Francis Landry, Jr. and Tina LeBouef (Jeremiah), brother; Bennett Landry, sister; Lois Vincent and Joann Miller, 22 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
“Chief” was preceded in death by his parents; Roy and Hilda Landry, son-in-law; Randall Touchet.
Chief was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was an amazing man. He worked on an oil rig all his life. He loved fishing, riding his bike and family gatherings. He really loved cooking for all holidays and watching his family sit there and enjoy it.
He was his wife’s rock, soul mate and best friend. He loved all his children to the fullest. He was a true family man.
He will be dearly missed and will forever live in our hearts. We love you always!
