Floyd “Flat” Schouest, 85, a native and resident of Gheens, LA, passed away on Thursday, February, 24, 2022.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Monday, February 28, 2022 at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Gheens, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am with burial to follow in Holy Savior Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Leanna Schouest; sons, Alvin Schouest and Calvin Schouest; grandchildren, Jennifer, Jacob and Cheyanne Schouest; great grandchildren, Derrel, Mallory, Alyssa, Zaiden, Zoey’lynn, Liam, Olivia, Zander, Hope and Faith; godchild, Jared Matherne; brothers, Anderson “Yan” Schouest and Harvey Breaux and sister, Vivian Clement.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifton and Hilda Schouest; great granddaughter, Michelle and brothers, Leroy, Aurestile, Cleo, Alvin, Edward and Lenny Schouest.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
