Floyd Joseph Faucha, 91, a native and resident of Raceland passed away on Sunday, August 8, 2021.
Visitation will be held at St. Mary’s Nativity Catholic Church on Thursday, August 12th from 10:00 a.m. until funeral time. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 p.m. with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Ruth Plaisance Faucha; children, Bonnie F. Lepine (Elwood), Joy F. Hunter (Thomas), Sharon Faucha and Mike J. Faucha (Rachel); grandchildren, Ryan Lepine (Danielle), Dr. Reena Lepine Jackson (Joshua), Ileen L. Tyler (Christopher), Sheree L. DiMarco (Alex, Jr.), Blake Hunter (Pamela), Dalton Hunter (Ashley), Ariel H. Steib (Michael, Jr.), Cody Faucha (Haven), Savannah Meaux and Kevin Meaux, Jr.; great-grandchildren, Hannah, Logan and Gavin Lepine, Lorelai and Barrett DiMarco, Addilyn Tyler, Ella, Kenzie and Scarlett Hunter, Caroline Steib and Aurora Meaux; sisters, Sylvia F. Plaisance and Betty F. LeBlanc.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Justilian and Elma Faucha; brothers, Nolan Faucheaux and Gerald Faucha; sisters, Thelma Faucha and Faith F. Breaux.
