Fleming "Cowboy" Joseph Trosclair, Sr., 89, a native and resident of Larose, died Friday, Jan. 13, 2012.
He is survived by his son, Fleming Trosclair Jr., his daughters, Rena Bourgeois and husband Dean, Dolores Bergeron and husband Richard; his brothers, Abel "Blue," Mervin, Lloyd and John Trosclair; his sisters, Shirley Bonvillian, Lois Smith and Joyce Hebert.; nine grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mildred Zeringue Trosclair, his second wife, Odile Rogers Trosclair, his parents Philibert and Ida Fonseca Trosclair; his brothers Irvin, Philibert Jr. and Freddie Trosclair; his sisters Ledia Allemand, Emily Cheramie and Pearl Bourgeois and one grandchild.
He was a parishioner of Holy Rosary Catholic Church and a WW II veteran.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Monday, Jan. 16 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Larose, with funeral services at 12 p.m. and burial in the Cheramie Cemetery in Galliano after.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
