Flavia Crochet Redmond

Flavia Crochet Redmond, 99, a native of Houma, LA and a resident of Bourg, LA, passed away surrounded by family on Sunday, November 5, 2023.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at St. Ann Catholic Church, Bourg, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am with burial to follow in Holy Rosary Cemetery, Houma, LA.
She is survived by her children Earline Lajaunie (Bob), Russell Redmond (Linda), Reggie Redmond, Sr. (Jackie), Clara Redmond, Keith Redmond, Sr. (Mary Ann), Kathryn McElroy (Bryan); son-in-law, Tommy Guidry; brother, Allen Crochet (Jeanette); sister, Shirley Rodrigue; sister-in-law, Doris Crochet; 14 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charley A. Redmond, Sr.; children, Angela Guidry and Charley Redmond, Jr.; grandson, Chris Lajaunie; parents, Stanwood and Cecile Crochet; brothers, L.J. Crochet, Luris Crochet, Douglas Crochet, Ernest Crochet, Stanley Crochet; sisters, Mildred Bergeron, Lois Haydel and Alice Mae Pisana.
Flavia was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary, Bourg Lion’s Club and St. Ann Ladies Altar Society. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, cleaning and spending time with her family.
